I am enjoying Show so much more these days. With Lisa out of the picture and more Cas, it feels like Show is finally getting back to where I need it to be because I'm loving things. The pace was a little slow in this episode but otherwise it was an excellent setting things up and moving things along episode. And I agree with all of what you wrote about where Sam is right now in relation to Dean.
And yes, I very much agree there is angelic handprints in this besides Crowley. Also I think we can probably assume getting Mary out of purgatory is Gramps goal here. (though I still find MP still skeevy to enjoy much)
